The biggest challenge in the network marketing industry is knowing how to generate leads, and how to turn those leads in to Customers, and Distributors.
The principal that you need to understand is that the main reason why people join you in MLM is because they trust you, like you, respect you and know you.
There is nothing new with this principal… There has always been like that and there will always continue to be like that. Most likely people want to be in business with other people that they trust, like and respect.
People simply don’t want to join people that are “needy”. Instead they want to join other people that have power, but most network marketers get across their message as needy and that simply don’t work. Network marketing is easy if people trust, like and respect you.
You will have a much bigger conversion ratio, and even more importantly have more people that stay in your business if you understand and follow this golden rule, and also teach it to others.
In today’s society with the power of the Internet, where people can get their offer out to tens of thousands of people with “the click of the mouse”, it’s even more important then ever to build a relationship with other people in order to get success in network marketing.
The reason for that is because; there will always be tons of other people that are fighting for your prospects and members attention. People get bombarded daily of different opportunities, so if they don’t trust and respect you, you will have a much higher number of people that drop out.
People will always look for that “Heart To Heart Connection”, so they want to know if you care, and if you are going to be there for them, so it starts with you. You have to give first, before you can get anything…
And that’s also one of the main reasons why people fail in MLM, because they starting out the other way around where they try very hard to “GET” before they “Give”. So, the more people that you serve and the more people that trust you, like you, know you and respect you, the more money you’ll make in MLM, period!
Warm marketing is most effective and anyone telling you that you just need to send your email to 100,000 people, and then send them to your website and that the website will do the rest, are either lying to you, or most likely they simply don’t know any better.
However, you can get some sign ups by doing this, but most likely, those people will never do anything, and drop out quickly, and look for the next magic opportunity, around the corner.
The main reason why that is happening is because you haven’t built a relationship with those prospects yet, so why should they follow you? They probably get many of those kinds of emails every single day, so if you’re not different, and have a different approach, you will most likely, be just another “scamer”.
So regardless if you promote your network marketing program on the Internet or promoting it offline, in order to be as effective as possible, the rule is to start with building a relationship with your prospects first, before you trying to recruit them. Here is another way to say it, “don’t get married on the first date when building your network marketing business”.
