I told him that I’m a strong believer of “Online Network Marketing” and that in my personal opinion his MLM Company didn’t have the online tools in place that I was looking for.

He was very rude and almost took me for an idiot because I didn’t wanted to join his primary MLM program, and also because of the reason that I had some disagreements about his particular network marketing opportunity…

For example he said that my opinion didn’t matter because their network marketing opportunity was designed by one of those famous “MLM Gurus” that knew more about network marketing than me…

I tried to explain for him that most people and especially most of those “MLM Gurus” talks in their own and best interest and makes millions of dollars by saying that their particular Network marketing opportunity is the best that has ever excisted.

The truth is that literally every MLM Company that you will ever research, you will always find those people that has made a lot of money and what do you believe that they will tell you? Of course they will give you all the reasons why their MLM program is the best ever…

I also told him that their are many great network marketing opportunites out there and that in my personal opinion I believed that his MLM company was maybe the best for him, but not the best MLM company for everyone out there…

However, he was so “brain washed” and didn’t want to listen to anything else than himself and his own opinions…

The truth is that, in my opinion he showed a very interesting concept and with a few small changes to the compensation plan, and if they also had a strong online system in place I would definitely consider about joining this MLM company…

My point is that: Don’t ever do what he did! I mean, never disrespect other people… First of all: who knows, how my situation will look in the future.

If I should take a look on this particular network marketing opportunity again in the future, do you believe that I would consider to join under this person that was so disrespectful to me?

Nope, not a chance! Why should I work with someone that treats me with so little respect? Second: it’s just an “unwritten law” that says that you should try to treat everyone that you will ever meet in this world with respect, regardless if they want to join your MLM program or not.

However, remeber that I’m also a BIG promoter of “Offline Network Marketing” for those people that wants to do that. Simply, because marketing your network marketing business the old traditional way, calling people, doing meetings etc, can be very effective as well…

My point is that, if you don’t also learn how to put your message in front of masses of targeted people on the Internet, you are missing out BIG time! Plus you must also learn how to brand yourself and how to build YOU! With other words: You also need to build YouInc.

Here is the list that I personally consider to be some of the biggest “Serial Killers” in the network marketing industry:

• Most network marketers believe that they are building a real asset, but the real truth is that they don’t own their Downline, Customers, Website and Marketing System – Their MLM Company Does!
• Most network marketers ”Go Broke”, before they get anywhere in MLM, because it simply costs them more money to be involved with MLM than what they get back.
• Over 95% of all Network marketing companies has a marketing system in place that require ”selling skills” in order to realistically succeed… But the simple truth is that most people in the world don’t like selling or being sold on, so it’s literally impossible to duplicate to other people.
• Most network marketers will quit if they receive to much rejection, because they ”Don’t Want it Bad Enough” so their emotions will stop them once they have to face the sceptical world out there.Especially this is true if they work according to the “Old School” offline MLM model, bothering family and friends, purchasing and “Cold Calling Leads.Most people will simply have a much better chance to succeed with MLM if they learn how to market themselves and their Network marketing opportunity on the Internet.

  Here they should have a highly effective Internet marketing system in place that Sorts, Sells and Follows up for them on complete autopilot.
  

• With ”MLM Stone Age” marketing methods, you either need to be a ”Powerful Sales Leader” or “EXTREMELY Persistent” in order to realistically succeed with Network marketing, and most people don’t fit in to any of those two categories.
• Most network marketers don’t have a system and plan in place in order to ”Market” and ”Brand” them self, so that they stand out from the ”masses” and so that other people can see them.
• The simple truth that is costing most network marketers their dreams is just a few skill sets that literally anyone can learn if they just have the right information and system in place.

If you don’t have a way to reach and attract the millions of people that already have a network marketing company to promote, and no interest to change, you loose out on your best market…

However, even though your best and especially your biggest market is other network marketers, it’s NOT your most targeted market…

You see, your most targeted market are all the people that are searching right now for more information about your primary MLM program… Those people are already pre-sold on your primary MLM Company, so you just need to make sure that they will find you, and give them a good reason why they should join you and your team.

Another important market for you is your warm market, your “Centre Of Influence”. That means people that you already know. That can be friends, family, co workers, other network marketers that you have worked together with in other MLM Companies in the past, etc.

How they view you as a “business man” and as a person is also very important. So, if many of those people trust, like, and respect you, then MLM will be much easier for you.

However, don’t waste your time with people that you already know that simply don’t get it. What I mean with that is simply that, what you should primarily focus on is people that you already know and that is already “Buying Opportunity” and especially other network marketers that you already know from the past.

So, again if you don’t have a way on how to approach and “serve” all this people here, and especially other network marketers, then you will have a much harder time to reach your goals in network marketing.

Literally, everything comes back to “Building relationships” in Network marketing, so you want to make sure that you learn how to become a “Black Belter” in “How To Build Relationships” with other people.

Even though, you can build relationships with other people literally on autopilot today, it will never be the same as something that is real.. I mean, think about it: How can you touch someone’s heart in the same way with the help of an Autoresponder?

The easy and short answer to that question is that: You can’t! However, the follow up process is crucial, and an autoresponder is probably the best tool you can have when marketing your network marketing business online…

My point is just that, an Autoresponder can’t replace a “True” and “Real” relationship between people.

1. Lead generation
2. Building relationships
3. Teach other people the same

Basically, what you want to do is to build a big list of targeted people that you can market to over and over again for the rest of the time…

As we all know, the biggest challenge in the MLM industry is knowing how to generate leads and how to turn those leads in to Customers and Distributors.

These principals are very much the same online as offline with network marketing. So in order to achieve MLM success you need to understand that the biggest reason why people join you is because they trust you, like you, respect you and know you.

There is nothing new with this principal… There has always been like that and there will always continue to be like that. Most likely people want to be in business with other people that they trust, like and respect.

People simply don’t want to join other people that are “needy”. Instead, they want to join people that have knowledge and power, but most network marketers get across their message as “needy”, and that simply don’t work.

You will have a much bigger “Conversion Ratio”, and even more importantly have more people that stay in your business if you understand and follow this “Golden Rule”, and obviously also teach it to others…

In today’s society with the power of the Internet, where people can send their offer out to tens of thousands of people with “the push of a button”, it’s even more important than ever to build relationships with other people in order to achieve MLM success…

The main reason for that is simply because; from now on there will always be tons of other people that will fight for your prospects and downline’s attention.

People get literally bombarded daily of different MLM opportunities, so if they don’t trust and respect you, then you will have a much higher number of people that drop out.

People will always look for that “Heart To Heart Connection”… So they want to find out if you care and if you are going to be there for them, so literally everything starts with you. Basically, you have to give first before you can receive anything, and that’s also one of the biggest reasons why most people fail in MLM…

Simply because they are starting out the other way around and tries very hard to Get before they Give… So, the more people that you Serve and the more people that Trust you, Like you, Know you and Respect you, the more money you’ll make in Network marketing, period!

“Warm Marketing” is most effective and anyone telling you that in order to get massive MLM success you just need to send your “email ad” to 100,000 people… And that your website will do the rest are either lying to you, or most likely they simply don’t know any better…

However, you can get some “sign ups” by using that strategy, but most likely those people will never do anything and drop out quickly in order to look for the next “magic opportunity” around the corner… The main reason why that is happening is because you haven’t built a relationship with those prospects yet, so why should they follow you?

They probably get many of those kinds of emails every single day, so if you’re not different and have a another approach you will most likely be viewed as just another “scamer”. On the other hand, keep in mind that you can also apply “Warm Marketing” effectively on the Internet…

For example you can use different network marketing tools such as an Autoresponder, Ebooks, Videos, Audios, Websites, Blogs, Social Networking Sites, etc, that can help you to build warm and long lasting relationships with your prospects.

Regardless if you want to promote your network marketing program on the Internet or promoting it offline you need to understand this time-less and proven principal of “Relationship Building”.

So, in order to achieve true MLM success, the “Golden Rule” is always trying to build relationships with your prospects first before you actually trying to recruit them in to your primary MLM business.

So he has positioned him self to make money from the entire network marketing industry, where he for example sells his own generic products and courses to other network marketers.

Look at all the most successful network marketing leaders out there, and you’ll see what I mean. For them it doesn’t matter if people joins their primary MLM program or not.

Simply, because they make money from the entire MLM industry anyway by selling for example their own products, courses, leads and traffic programs, membership site fees, autoresponder subscriptions, Hosting, etc.

While over 95% of all network marketers running around on the “battle field” (marketing the same way) and are competing over the same prospects and trying to sell each other on different opportunities.

Instead the MLM Guru has found a way on “helping” and “serving” other network marketers, by solving their biggest problems…

So, instead of selling them on his primary MLM program at first, he has learned how to “solve” and “serve”, where he sells his own products and courses on for example “How To Recruit More People”.

 The “MLM Guru” has also understood that he needs to stand out and market him self, so he does not only has his own products that helps him to stand out.

He also got his own “domain name”, in HisOwnName.com, plus that he has all the neccesary resources available in order to “serve” and “attract” other network marketers.

The “MLM Guru” has simply created an environment with great resources, such as Membership sites, Toll free numbers, audio and video presentations, etc, where he offers generic training, to the entire network marketing industry.

By doing that he brands him self, and win peoples trust and respect, and lead them in to his “Sales funnel”, where he show them his other products.

The MLM Guru simply understands that the network marketing industry will always be around, and he knows that other network marketers will always be looking for more Leads and more Training.

The simple truth is that other network marketers will always be eager on how to learn the secrets on how to generate more Leads, and also how to sponsor more people in to their downline…

So why not making extra money by selling information on how to do that more effectively to them?

The principal that you need to understand is that the main reason why people join you in MLM is because they trust you, like you, respect you and know you.

There is nothing new with this principal… There has always been like that and there will always continue to be like that. Most likely people want to be in business with other people that they trust, like and respect.

The network marketers that know the strategies on how to market their MLM business effectively on the Internet and also have the best online network marketing system in place, so that they can serve and attract the “masses” will definitely be the biggest “money earners” in the future.

“Online Network Marketing” is definitely the future… I mean, today there are well over 1 billion people online! and that is of mayor importance for your Network marketing business.

Look, with the power of the Internet you can reach thousands and even tens of thousands of targeted prospects almost instantly…

And more importantly build trust and relationships with your prospects on literally complete autopilot. For example, if you look at what for example Mc Donald’s and Dominos did…

They didn’t focus on to have the best product in place (Hamburgers and Pizza). Instead they focused on marketing, and to have the best system in place, so that they could serve and attract the “masses”.

Mc Donald’s are all over the place! People can find them literally every where they go world wide! You should try to apply the same principals in to your Network marketing business.

So one of the biggest MLM mistakes is that network marketers send their prospects to their primary MLM Company’s corporate website, and as a result loose their website visitors forever… 

You see, those kinds of websites are not in general designed and focused on to get people to take action and opt-in for more information…

And if that wasn’t enough, those kinds of websites also miss the number one rule for network marketing success flat out… which is, that they don’t promote YOU!

Instead most MLM companies focuses on “Image Marketing”, which is basically, trying to brand the Company name and history, etc… Of course that is important to… BUT they forgot something very, very important here… they forgot to promote YOU!

And let’s not forget, the main reason why people in general start with MLM… The simple truth is that people join you because they trust, like, respect and know you… So the key is to sell yourself first…. And the best way to do that is to share your personal story…

That is what will get other people to relate to you and also to make you unique, so that you stand out from all the “masses” out there.
